Worshipworship

Here at the White Cloud United Methodist Church we offer two different types of worship services. We offer a Traditional Sunday service, and also a contemporary service that we like to call "The Awakening". Both services have the same message and scripture readings. The main differenct between the two is that "The Awakening" is more laid back, interactive, and modern using of various types of music and video to try and reach the younger generations.

What time do I need to arrive?
Our Traditional worship service begins promptly at 9:00 am. Coffee is served in the lobby prior to the service so arrival 8:30 - 8:45 is most appropriate. Learning Groups (Sunday School) begin at 10:15 am. Those who are not attending early worship may want to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your learning group.
Refreshments will be served in the church lobby between worship services and following "The Awakening" service at 12:30 pm. If you are attending "The Awakening" service at 11:15 am you may want to arrive 10-15 minutes early. One of our greeters will be happy to assist you upon your arrival.

What do I need to wear?
While some people will dress up, most everyone dresses casual (or business casual) on Sunday mornings for the traditional worship service. If you are attending "The Awakening" service relaxed casual (jeans, polo, tee-shirts) is the norm even for the pastor. The same for all other events through the week. Don't worry about what you wear, come enjoy the difference you will experince at the White Cloud United Methodist Church.

Where do I park?

Parking is available with handicap in the West parking lot and next to the building off the alley. General parking is available in the main parking lot located on the East of the church behind the hardware store along the streets. Guests can be delivered to the door under the pavilion located on the North side of the building. A greeter will be at the door waiting to welcome and assist you.
